Both Todorokis fix him with their gazes, ocean blue and cloudy grey each, and Izuku’s mouth falls open. Someone else follows inside and Izuku’s eyes widen even further than they already were, a fully red-headed Todoroki sporting a deep scowl underneath the scar he is so used to seeing. “Don’t you dare say another word.” That same voice, yet so much gruffer and resentful, threatens.
The white-haired teen turns to him, unscarred face blank for a second then twisting into a grin so large Izuku almost worries it might hurt. It only gets worse when he actually sees the face in front of him, framed by snow-white hair and… nothing else. The voice is awfully familiar, but the unbridled joy ringing so clearly and without a hint of restraint sounds so unfortunately out of place that Izuku reels. “M-my b-b- boyfriends?” What the hell is he talking about?īefore Izuku can come up with any logical explanation, the door to the dorm building cracks open and someone steps inside with a laugh. “Put a leash on your damn boyfriends.” Kacchan grumbles, finishing kicking off his shoes and pushing past him with a few unintelligible grunts. He skids to a halt at the sight of Kacchan’s furrowed brows, and he blinks in confusion as he looks around for whatever threat may be lurking in the shadows. Is there an attack? Did something happen to All Might? His mother?Īlready on his feet before Kacchan even has the chance to think of calling again, Izuku runs to Heights Alliance’s entrance faster than his childhood friend can think of an insult. Being called in such an aggressive manner wasn’t really anything new, but Izuku could swear he heard a tiny hint of alarm underneath the usual irritation and his stomach lurches, his brain already coming up with a million and one reason why it might be there. Izuku’s head snaps up from his notes as soon as he hears Kacchan’s angry voice from outside the common room.
Without the other two around, Izuku is actually making good progress, almost done with the last of his work, when suddenly a door slams open. Todoroki and Kacchan had gone out on a self-appointed errand while he stayed behind to do some homework with a frightfully close due date.
